Local speech recognition gives your words a shorter journey: from your voice to a model on your Mac.

Your audio. On your device.

Use Whisper or Moonshine for local inference. Once the engine and model are installed, local transcription runs on your Mac.

A model that suits your words.

Choose multilingual Whisper models, including an option for Intel Macs. Moonshine for English requires Apple silicon, macOS 15+, Python 3.8+ and ffmpeg. Configure recognition and optional writing cleanup separately.

Room for your vocabulary.

Add the names, phrases and specialist terms you use. Review corrections and keep a transcript history for recovery.

Local processing depends on your chosen engine and settings. Optional cloud providers receive the data required for their requests and may charge separately.

One Line for Mac

$19USD / once

  • Local Whisper and Moonshine speech options
  • Your vocabulary, corrections and history
  • Future app updates included in the offer
  • No recurring app subscription

Stripe pricing is set. Checkout and download delivery are being prepared. No payment is collected here yet.

A few straight answers.

Is it free forever?

One Line is planned as a $19 one-time purchase, rather than a free app or a monthly subscription. Future app updates are part of the offer. Optional external services can have their own charges.

Does my audio leave my Mac?

Not when you select and use a local engine for local inference. If you enable a remote transcription or cleanup provider, the data needed for that step goes to that provider. A local server address alone does not prove local processing.

Can I download it today?

A macOS testing package has been built. Public distribution is still being prepared, including Apple Developer ID signing and notarization. There is no public download on this site yet.

Which Macs and apps will it support?

A universal package for Apple silicon and Intel is being tested. Text insertion depends on the app and field permissions; final compatibility and system requirements will be published with the release.

How do updates work?

Future app updates are included in the planned purchase. Automatic in-app updates are not implemented yet. We will explain the verified update process before purchase opens.

Who handles my payment?

Stripe will process the one-time payment for One Line. Sicapo is the legal merchant. The public checkout will open after payment and download delivery are verified.
